Hydrotherapy Pool in the Perach Village, Rosh Ha’ayin

$2,284,000

The communal village in Rosh Ha’ayin serves as a lifelong home for its 240 residents with varying levels of functioning. Perach was entrusted with the responsibility of managing the village in April 2022 by Welfare Minister Meir Cohen following a
severe abuse scandal under the previous administration. To rehabilitate the village, Perach invested substantial resources in both physical renovations and organizational restructuring, all tailored to meet the specific needs of the residents.

The Hydrotherapy Pool, which had been closed for several years due to non- compliance with Health Ministry standards, is now undergoing a complete renovation. The project includes the construction of a new, accessible rehabilitation center that will serve not only the village’s special needs population but also regional patients recovering from car accidents and complex medical procedures, as well as IDF soldiers using the pool as part of their rehabilitation process.
